 HOW DO I ORDER A PHOTO SHOOT? 

To order a photo shoot send an email (preferred method) to JohnDallas@PREPhotography.com or call us at 843-989-0989, with the following information: Your name and contact information; the address of the property, the name of the owner and their contact information; and how soon you want to have the photo shoot done.   

 HOW LONG WILL THE PHOTO SHOOT TAKE AND HOW MANY PICTURES ARE TAKEN? 

Depending on the size of the home, the photo shoot will take anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes.  We don't limit how many pictures we take.  The number of photos taken depends on the home but there will always be enough photos to fully represent the home, including for virtual tours and open houses.  For example, we recently did a photo shoot of an 800 SF home and provided 68 pictures.  Please see the "PRICING" page for more information.

 HOW SOON WILL THE PHOTOGRAPHS BE READY AND HOW WILL THEY BE DELIVERED? 

The photographs, floor plan sketch and slide show will be delivered typically the next business day following the shoot.  However, due to the large number of pictures we take, it could be the 2nd business day.   Delivery is done by attaching a link to the file with the photos, floor plan sketch and slide show in an email that is sent to the person ordering the photos.

 HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? 

Pricing depends on the square footage of the home.  Please see the "PRICING" page for more information.

WHO OWNS THE PHOTOGRAPHS? 

With our photography business, whoever orders and pays for the photographs and floor plan sketch is the owner and can use them in whatever way that person deems to be appropriate.  We do however retain the right to use any and all photographs, floor plan sketches and slide shows for our own marketing and promotional purposes.


DO YOU PROVIDE ANY GUARANTEES? 

I know Realtors take their work very seriously, and we all know pictures get people interested in looking at a home.  Therefore, I will make you this guarantee.  Using my pictures, slide show and floor plan sketch for your listing, if it doesn't have an accepted offer within 180 days from the date of listing or from the date the pictures were taken, whichever is later, I will refund half of the fee for the photo shoot back to you or take a new set of photos with no fee.


DO YOU HAVE A REFERRAL PROGRAM?

Yes!    When you refer our services to another real estate agent, once we have done a photo shoot for that agent you'll receive a 20% discount on your next photo shoot. This 20% is in addition to any other discounts you may be receiving.


 WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO GET THE HOME READY FOR THE PHOTO SHOOT?  

  • The main thing to keep in mind is have the home comfortable, clean and clutter-free.  We find people can more readily identify with and are more inclined to purchase a home they can relate to as their own.  That being said, here are some specifics on what to do.
  • INTERIOR: De-clutter by cleaning and clearing out all "extras" from every room.  This includes magazines; personal pictures; pet toys, bowls, beds and litter boxes.  All lights should be turned on and all ceiling fans should be turned off.  All blinds should be open and also raise them if there is a nice view.  
  • LIVING ROOM: Make sure couch pillows are fluffed and the TV is off, 
  • DINING ROOM: Set the table as if you are getting ready to serve dinner or simply place a nice centerpiece.
  • KITCHEN: Clear off counters as much as possible, Take pictures and magnets off the refrigerator.
  • BEDROOMS: Make beds, hang up any clothing, make sure walk-in closets are neat looking.
  • BATHROOMS: Put toilet lids down, remove any cleaning tools and trash, clean mirrors.
  • EXTERIOR: There should be no cars in the driveway.  Trash cans, hoses, bikes and any toys should be put in the garage.  The grass should have been recently mowed.  If there is a swimming pool it should be on and running.  Wrap up any vacuum hoses, and put away all pool toys except one, which should be left in the pool.
